I started to explore translating my chosen poem into different images after feedback from my tutorial suggested that various translations of the poem used different synonyms, each altering the meaning in subtle but significant ways. This led me to highlight key words that sparked specific visuals in my mind, using these as the foundation for each image. By focusing on these words, I could create visuals that reflect the nuances of the language, showing how slight shifts in wording evoke distinct imagery and deepen the poem’s interpretation.
